This system will help Sikkim govt. to promote tourism and it will also facilitate travelers as a single point of information access for Sikkim

Sikkim is a hub for tourism. It has voracious destinations for foreigners as well as domestic travelers. One web portal is required to maintain information about all destinations with details & photographs. Sikkim also has some treks and to enjoy each trek several services and offerings are offered by agents. Some new treks can also be added in near future. Information about these offerings (tours) / services / Cost and agents should be available on web. Information about hotels / transport facility should also be available on web with contact details. It can be well integrated with third party for payment purposes. It should also have emergency services contact details , certain rules & procedures for foreigners as well as domestic visitors, which should be listed on this portal. Various agents will have access to portal and they can update information about their services / offerings time to time. Information available on portal should be updated through authentic sources like Hotel Federal Association / Tours Federal Association etc. already available in Sikkim.A visitor of web should be able to find out details in very user friendly way for destinations / services provided by many agents with cost analysis & their feedback. Moreover every visitor should be registered with this application whenever they are visiting Sikkim so that regular updates can be sent to them for new offerings. Every visitor should be able to submit feedback/ suggestions through web on destinations / services & offerings offered by many agents. It can also be collected on some standard parameters.
